Step by Step to Fix Blue Screen BSOD Caused by dxgmms1.sy | Norton.com/setup

·       Updating the graphics card to its latest version
1.  Go to the Run prompt box by clicking on the Windows and R key together.
2.  Enter “devmgmt.msc” in the search bar.
3.  Click on the Enter option.
4.  It will launch the Device Manager menu.
5.  After opening the Device Manager menu, go down to the menu list of all the devices which you have already installed.
6.  Enlarge the pull-down list registered with the Display Adapters option.
7.  You need to right-click on the GPU which you are currently using.
8.  Select the Update Driver option from a new pop-up menu.
9.  After going in the updating display, press on the Search Automatically for updated driver software option.
10. Wait till you finish the scanning process.
11.  After that, go through the guidelines for installing the updated version of GPU.
12.   After the new version of GPU gets installed, you need to start the system again.
13.   Check if you have fixed blue screen BSOD caused by dxgmms1.sys error.
·       Installing each pending updates of the Windows
1.  Click on the Run pop-up box.
2.  You need to click on the Windows and R keys together.
3.   Enter ‘mssettings:windowsupdate’ in the given box.
4.  Click on the Enter option.
5.  It will launch the Windows Update option.
6.  It is located in the Settings application.
7.  After going to the Windows update display, press on the Check for updates option.
8.  Let the scanning process complete on the system.
9.  Go through the guidelines for installing each Windows update which are pending now.
10.  In case you have updates which are pending, then start the system again before installing the hotfixes for the error.
11.  After installing the pending, start the system again and check if you have fixed this issue or not.
·  Turn Off the Integrated GPU
1.  Click on the Windows and R keys together.
2.  It will launch the Run prompt box.
3.  Enter “devmgmt.msc” in the search bar.
4.  Click on the Enter option.
5.  It will launch the Device Manager option.
6.  After going to the Device Manager menu, go through the menu list of all the devices which are installed now.
7.  Enlarge the pull-down list.
8.  Select the Disable device option.
9.  It is the option which is located in the pop-up menu.
10. Start the system.
11. You need to check if this issue is fixed or not on your system.
